“Great place to get away for a weekend”

“Hotel stile vecchia corsa ai diamanti che a noi per una notte è piaciuto, anche grazie alla vicinanza con l'area del Big Hole (attaccata all'albergo) che era l'unico motivo per cui abbiamo sostato a Kimberley mentre tornavamo da Upington a Joburg. Ristorante accettabile.”

I rather stay next time at the Protea Hotel at the Big Hole, which has a fabulous lounge area, restaurant and buffet breakfast included, for just R400 more per night. “It was wonderful”

“This is a good hotel that has been run down. The room was very pleasant - the aircon worked, the kettle and TV worked. The area is not great and the access to the parking is limited because of road works. The value for money is outstanding.”

“Awful service, no remotes in the rooms for the AC, or TV. Woke up with cockroaches on the table near my things. Had to ask about wifi, and had to ask to get cups and glasses for the room. They told us we didnt have have breakfast included, i had to prove to them that we paid for B &B. The toilets dont have seat covers, and the shower barely released any water. Is seems like a place theyve tried to make beautiful in the cheapest possible way.”
